Garages who Care

Post by dcworm57 »

Can anyone recommend any Vw Garages or garages (bodywork and mechanical ) North of Manchester or better still up towards Cumbria / Scotland that actually care about working on T25s . All the places I have spoken to up this neck of the woods don’t want the work it would seem .Probably due to lack of knowledge and scarcity of parts etc .

Had my van fail its MOT on the handbrake adjustment and they wouldnt take it on, loads of guys across 2 different sites

Cant really blame them i suppose as rear drums arent a thing so much anymore, same for carb adjustments, plus they know i do my own stuff

All i can suggest is to find a general vw specialist and ask them their experience of working on your van type, still some guys around from the old days that didnt just skip from general mechanics on Vauxhalls and Fords to Split Screen van experts
