good point-ill give it a go!

the master cylinder on my bay has started leaking a little- stripped it out and there is some build up at the very front of the bore- can i get some wet and dry in there- say 1200 or something to remove it or will it do more harm than good? maybe I could lube it up with some brake fluid or something...

cheers- i just assume it was a vw specific thing- extra pleased i asked now!

whoops- blew the strip fuse! does anybody know where you can get them still? direct through still?

I have had a tinker with the wiring BUT STILL NO POWER TO THE GLOW PLUGS! is it connection 50 (i.e the red/black to the starter) which flicks the to get power to the plugs? umm, where do i connect the jump leads?! is it positive to the big stud and the negative.....(anywhere on the casing?). what about the spade connection -is that for the solenoid?
