VW Northwest 13th August 2000 By Steve Shaw

Good turn out again at Tatton Park for VW Northwest on August 13th 2000, there seemed to be something for everybody at this years event, clubs, trade stands, side shows and a large autojumble. The concourse vehicles were a treat to see, irrespective of your taste you could not but admire the time and effort afforded by these enthusiasts to show their vehicles.

The only fault we could come up with was the trade stands, they all appeared to be geared up for the Golf and Sirocco boys, should give JR & CP Wood of Yorkshire a mention, they are doing carpet sets for the T25 from around £30, details available on the links page, in all a very enjoyable day out.

Later in the morning a crew cab 1700 diesel was commandeered from Mike of Busbodies for our stand, many thanks to him.
During the afternoon Maurice from Doncaster joined us with his impressive Caravelle.

Many thanks to Mark from Derbyshire who brought along his newly converted dark blue T25, a real classy machine, and to Stephen from Denton who was drafted from the local campsite, a bewildering first outing for him and his family meeting us lot.
