Think this is the picture you mean ... http://luggie.demon.co.uk/images/loaded.jpg And here's a link to the supplier http://www.autowbars.co.uk/motorcyclerack.htm Fits on the standard towbar and very well made for the price, the bike I carry is a 250cc so a stepthru or similar should be no problem.

Yes and no, you could feed an inverter into the consumer unit to feed the vans 240 volt systems, no problem there but if you run at near the 2500 watt levels your talking about you will need some serious batteries to get any useful life, at 2500W an efficient inverter will draw around 12-15 amps fro...

Cheered me up no end re-reading this, especially the willie cabinet!

Best laugh the swear filter has given for a while, must admit I was thinking of checking my van incase it had a cabinet somewhere I hadn't found but then realised I'm just not posh enough, it's the drinks cabinet to me :)

The van will take it fine, whether the site's hookup will is more likly to be your problem, most sites give you about 10 amps, if the heater is all your using that equates to about 2500 kilowatts. Of course if your using that sort of power remember to turn it off before you use an electric kettle or...

I have freeview in the camper, you need a good antenna to get all the channels and a lot of out the way places (I mainly camp in Scotland) are not covered. To check in advance go to http://www.freeview.co.uk/ and put in the postcode of the campsite. The good thing is when it does work the picture is...

Sounds like you covered all the bases on cooling but have you tried another sender or maybe the voltage regulator in the instruments, is it really overheating or is it just the guage? cause really I can't see anything else to check.

Assuming the camber is OK just now, mark the eccentric washers against the swing arm before removing the top pivot and setup to the same marks when you reassemble and the camber should be fine.
