I've got a RHD twin slider panel van Syncro, with a full height walkthrough bulkhead, that I converted to a camper. I tried two other interiors before I found the one I have now. My interior is (we believe) made by a boat builder and came from a lhd high top van. In all the years I've been going to ...

It's in the wiki - look below at the thread entitled 'who did this then?' - I'm planning on buying a GPS instead........just as soon as I've had my gearbox changed back to 4wd usual and accumulated enough cash.......I've not had a speedo for a year and I've learnt to drive by the rev counter - it's ...

I've got 205's..........hmmm.....it'd be a novelty to have a speedo that not only registered numbers, but numbers that were even close to correct.......

That wiki'ed solution sounds like a barst though - may have to heavily coerce Euan into doing it for me.......

Van won't start - 2.1i DJ

My van has always started first time, but this morning refused. Turns over, battery was well charged, but no brmmm. Alas as I had 15 minutes to get the kids to school and get to work I had no time to look at anything at all, just had to run for it - what should I check first when I get home?

I have - DH welded plates in for me cos I was too chicken - actually caravelle seat rails as they have the correct profile - welded nuts to the rail, then welded into position with a hosepipe stuffed in between the soundproofing and the rear bulkhead metal. Devil of a job, bloody scary saying 'woah,...

Be honest, try and flog it, if it doesn't go, break it. A sound body is the major factor, a replacement engine is the easy bit...... If it goes as a pure breaker - with a rotten body, it's worth peanuts, but as a sound body with a replacement engine and MOT you'll increase it's value tenfold instant...

Wightlink ferries currently charge £29 each way 'night flyer' (booked for after 10pm) for ANY T25 from Lymington to Yarmouth - be it a tin top, high top, pop top. The High Top Transit also went through at the same 'car' rate, and it's a little bigger/taller than a T25. We managed to sneak on the 8.1...

You can buy a replacement Westy canvas from Just Kampers - the exact cost escapes me just now, but it's not inconsiderable......

Give Mercdoctor Marcus a shout/PM/call, he's in Coventry but apparently very busy at the moment getting my van back on the road, he'll either be able to help or should be able to point you in the right direction...... :D
