Member 3031, Paul Townson (mininuts). based near Whaley Bridge in the High Peak, Derbyshire Got the van in Sept 2006. It's a 1990 1.9 DG Autohomes Kamper with a solid sided pop top. All original as it left the factory except for some Audi alloys. 4 previous owners with a full history. It's our first T25 and so far it's been big fun. if you're in the area give us a call and come for a brew and a chat (tel no. in the helplist).
Member number 3144 Mark and Lesley, .  This is our 1983, 2 litre aircooled tintop.  We bought her in June 2006 from a guy who had started restoration but had run out of money and ideas.  The body work was not in bad shape, but it had been resprayed in a very vivid yellow.  The underside of the van is solid as are the panels.  The inside consisted of a kitchen unit (housing the cooker and gas bottle) and a fold down bed constructed from ply.  Our idea was to have the exterior of the van as original as possible and the interior as comfortable and useful as a cutom built camper.  So, the first thing we did was to rip out the inside, fit new carpet (to rear and cab), fit JK 3/4 rock and roll bed, build storage units (x2) and reposition kitchen unit.  Respray in original VW Bamboo yellow (vans original colour), fit chrome hubcaps, new window seals, new bumpers and end caps, new exhaust, starter motor, battery, full service (how much have we spent!?). Anyway, during 2006 we were able to meet up with fellow club members at Mach 7 and Vanfest and look forward to many more outings.

Member number 3254 - The Lloyd Family from Nottingham.  'Peggy' was welcomed into our family in summer 06.  Peggy is a 'Y' Reg 2 litre petrol Devon Moonraker.  The original interior was in incredibly good nick for her age but apparently the engine was shot so she had to be towed to us.  However with a bit of hard work, TLC from our Dad, and a few adjustments to her engine she went on true VeeDub stylee to pass her MOT not even a month later and running a dream.  Apart from getting the engine up and running, the work done so far is welding in the front panels, a new skylight and a good clean. To date she is running great, sounding aircooled and looking forward to the summer when all the family will be taking her lots of cool places........
