| Member No.1019 Andrew Scott ( Syncronaut 30) (Ormsby2003) 2.1DJ Syncro 14" with 6x15 alloys with 205/65/15 bought on E Bay in 2004. Completely resprayed when I bought it, wax protected and looks the biz. She has power steering, full tints all around and rear diff locks. I have yet to fit the electric windows and electric mirrors. Plans include a small bull bar and a full length skid pan underneath along with a home brew spare wheel mount on the back. This is my third T25 - not including two for scrapping! | ![]() |
| Member No.1025 Tim Burgess - (poseidon )1985 1.9 (DG) Transporter I picked my van up from Ebay for £200 with 10 months MOT and a 2 year old recon engine. I have lowered it by 60mm (JK kit) added the Merc 15" alloys and fitted the interior out with a simple 'stage' type sleeping area. Next things to get done is a respray and more tidying up! | ![]() |

January 1980 2ltr Aircooled. We bought it in May 2000. We only used it
in July each year for our jollies in France. Since 2005 it has been on
SORN, wrapped up in the garage. But I'm keeping it serviced and polished.
Like to 'potter about' to keep it in A1 condition...ish. |

Member number 1162 Gary Raynor from Oldham Lancashire. I bought the van in 2000 from Leisuredrive with a brand new conversion. Originally it was Timor beige but had it resprayed VW melange and Aston Martin dubonnet rosso , a new set of alloys and front spoiler. it has twin side loading doors and a full width bed making a very practical layout. Its had a new engine (laurie pettit) and virtually every mechanical part replaced. But its been worth it , had many excellent holidays and many more to come .....hopefully. |

| Member No. 1168 Bob Green (HacksawBob)1989 Autohomes Karisma. After my ‘79 bay this van is a dream to own. Since Feb 2004 it's not let us down, and we are trying to keep it that way. Cozy and warm in winter, well ventilated in Summer, quiet to sleep in on the stormiest night, fast enough to (just) break a motorway speed limit, acres of space inside and a comfy bed to boot. Only our growing family will force a sale, that or the ever present tin worm eating it away from under us. Forum Moderator | ![]() |
| Member No. 1242 : Kathy & Alex from Lancashire.(Kathyshack.) Bought the van (now know as Bertie Ganesh) March 2004. Its a 1988 1.9 Petrol DG, which we've had converted to run on LPG. Was a white panelvan when we bought it, partly converted into a camper. (badly) Since buying it we have totally rebuilt the inside and painted it a metallic blue. It still has the bulkhead, and as it is a twin slider we built the kitchen at the back of the bulkhead. Recently started to think seriously about adding a hightop to give us a bit more storage.
